Who we are
Ideal Dance opened in August 2010 under the ownership of Gretchen Shelesky. We promise to provide an open and supportive environment to help dancers grow in abilities, personal development, and well-being.
Located in the heart of Etna, PA we provide dance classes to all ages and all abilities. We proudly serve the special needs population as well - find out more here.

Fuchsia (Preschool)
Students will learn the building blocks of ballet technique. They will become familiar with ballet terminology, musicality, spatial orientation, and performance.
Our approach is that "dancing is fun!"
We use educational games to help focus on movement, balance, rhythm, coordination, learning colors/shapes/numbers, and following directions.
Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, PrePointe/Pointe
(Elementary School and Up)
Students will learn the technical aspects through the use of terminology and implementation; conditioning in the center. at the barre and across the floor.
